Some more pix from Nov 17th’s meeting.

These meetings are oftentimes informal/organic, people who attend oftentimes will want to show something they worked one to the group.  Lesson we learnt:  Internet isn’t the best for streaming, so bring your video on a USB key!

There is no meeting for December, however January’s meeting is already in the works.

These meetings are at their best when people openly discuss the backstory of their projects/how they dealt with adversity and delivered.  Ultimately, this group is about these amazing storytellers (from all over the industry) who are both supportive and engaging.

History has consistently proven:  “Trade secrets/Silo Mentality” are an investment in failure. One of the goals of this group: Break down those walls and encourage debate/communication between all disciplines.

All are welcome, forever free!

AWESOME GROUP! AWESOME MEETING!  Stay tuned for more info/updates.

Lineup for Nov 17th’s Meeting.

A SavageMessiahResearch&Development Project 2014-

A very special thanks to Sue Mitchell, Mag Ruffman and Daniel Hunter for their amazing presentation!
Oct 20th’s meeting was…easily one of the best meetings since the beginning of TOCPUG.  Difficult to explain it, but
It was genuine ‘academia’ at it’s best.  Everyone got something ‘new’ out of that meeting.

The room really buzzed with an amazing energy, the back/forth was great!

I’m sometimes asked: Why don’t you record/upload these meetings?

I deliberately chose not to, mainly to encourage people to come to these meetings…but also:

Non-streamed events simply allows a genuinely frank/honest discussion of our projects,

hardware/software, everything.  At TOCPUG, we can really ‘talk shop’.

This meeting reminded me why this group is so important, why it’s done every month

and why ‘the best in the biz’ keep coming to TOCPUG.CA !

Thanks fellow TOCPUG’ers,

See you in November!
